History
Pajaro Valley Golf Club's name may indicate an inland oasis, but golfers who discover (or rediscover) this Monterey County course can easily smell the ocean that crashes barely to the west of them, midway between Monterey and Santa Cruz. The natural bird and animal habitat of Elkhorn Slough also plays prominently on this rolling course, which includes an abundance of cypress and pine trees. Landing areas are spacious off the tees, but the slick greens will challenge your short game. The 6,664 yard (back tees) layout has benefitted greatly from a methodical two-year renovation program which has placed new tees on holes 4, 5, 7, and 14, and a promise of even more in the future. A grass tee driving range, GPS-equipped carts, full-service restaurant/bar, and unmatched tournament service complete the picture for golfers seeking the best in California coastal golf. Learn more
