History

Located on breath-taking Cobb Mountain in Lake County, Adams Springs Golf Course sits at 3,050 feet above sea level, and plays as a mountainous parkland-style course. Designed by famed California architect Jack Fleming, Adams Springs is an absolute joy to play and along with Northwood and Aetna Springs, it's one of the very best 9-hole layouts on the West Coast. Fleming's routing at Adams Springs makes exquisite use of a somewhat small property, located in a gorgeous valley and meadow just 15 minutes north of Middletown, and provides quite the punch for a course that measures just 2,804 yards from the back tees. The course boasts three par-threes, five par-fours and one par five. The nine-hole layout also has separate tee boxes that vary in length and angle off the tee for the front and back nines, allowing guests to experience different angles, tee shots and approaches when sticking around for 18 holes. Roughly two hours from the heart of the Bay Area, Adams Springs is sure to delight all who make the trek up to the Tahoe-esque town of Cobb and provides all its visitors with one of the most fun 9 hole courses around.
