History

Napa Golf Course at Kennedy Park has a wide following among golfers who revel in the challenges posed by water hazards on 16 of the 18 holes. Bordering on the Napa River wetlands, the course was designed by Bob Baldock and Jack Fleming in 1967 as a partially treelined obstacle tour and the rest wide open links style. Pine trees rim the course, slowly being replaced by native redwoods and other indigenous varieties. The signature 8th hole is described as a "reachable" par-5, though water left, right and front sometimes makes the "reach" seem more like a frantic grasp. Napa has served as a qualifier for the U.S. Open and the Anheuser- Busch tourney in the past. Significant enhancements have been made on the course in the past three years, including new cart paths, tees and bunkers. In addition, the golf shop and clubhouse were recently remodeled, providing a wonderful new atmosphere in the restaurant, Jack's Bar & Grill. Featuring a menu of specialty sandwiches and distinct salads, Jack's is an ideal venue for a meal before or after your round. Learn more
