Tucked up against the foothills overlooking year-round Stevens Creek, Deep Cliff features dramatic cliffs framing the course's 3,358 yards (back tees). Sycamore trees dating back to long before the American Revolution dot the creek, complemented by more recently planted redwoods and Douglas firs. The par-60 layout ranges from 106 to 289 yards, with 12 par-3s and the balance par-4s. The course plays narrow and short enough to forgive beginning golfers, while well-placed bunkers and the ever-present creek can require even accomplished golfers to put on their game face.
