When two-time British Open Champion Greg Norman visited Wente Vineyards to evaluate it as a proposed site for the design of his first West Coast course, he knew instinctively it would be a world-class golf facility. And with the PGA Nationwide Tour having come here in March, it truly is one of the top golf destinations in the area. Situated less than an hour's drive from both San Francisco and San Jose, The Course at Wente Vineyards captures the scenic variety and inherent beauty of the rolling landscape and its lush vineyards, punctuated by strategic placement of holes that gives each one a unique character. Stretching over 7,000 yards from the back tees, the course nestles up against the cliffs of Cresta Blanca.
