History

Salmon Run Golf Course sits at a kind of metaphorical crossroads, where all the best elements converge for a truly unique golfing getaway. Just six miles north of the California border in southern Oregon, this 18-hole gem sparkles year-round, protected from coastal fog and wind with its location three miles inland, just outside the town of Brookings (population 6,000). Recreational options abound, with incredible salmon and steelhead fishing in the Chetco and Rogue rivers, jet boating, rafting, and wilderness hiking under redwood forest canopies. Jack Creek runs through much of the 6,093-yard, par-71 layout. A network of bridges carries players over the creek that often hosts spawning fish. Separated from any development by a surrounding forest of fir, maple and rare myrtle wood trees, Salmon Run provides a tremendous sense of solitude. Modest rates just add to the allure for anyone ready to explore Oregon golf and the northern Pacific Coast. Learn more
