History
First, commission Arnold Palmer to design a 7,138 yard, 18-hole award-winning golf course with generous fairways, fast undulating greens and, according to Palmer himself, "...One of the most beautiful fee courses you will ever see." Add a full-scale resort complete with a Lodge hotel and restaurant, sports and fitness center, pool, ice skating arena, spa, equestrian center, hiking and biking trails and more. Place it all down in the middle of a working 9,600-acre cattle ranch surrounded at 4,200 feet by Oregon's fabled pine forests, wetlands and mountain backdrops, and you've got a golf paradise known as the Running Y Ranch. Conveniently located just across the California border in Klamath Falls, Oregon, the Running Y offers custom unlimited golf packages complete with accommodations in its magnificent lodge or fully furnished vacation rentals. Pay a visit but be forewarned: the most severe challenge you'll face is in departing this recreational wonderland. Learn more
