History

Red Hawk Golf and Resort got Sparks, Nevada on the radar of golf lovers in 1996 when its public play Lakes course opened to wide and immediate acclaim. Since joined by its companion Hills Course (which is open to the public for the first time in 2012), Lakes continues to draw greater Reno area golfers and vacationers attracted by the high desert landscape and the opportunity to play a classic Robert Trent Jones II course at moderate, everyday prices. Jones made full use of the natural wonders abounding at this mountainous 4,400-foot setting just minutes out of downtown Reno.
