History

Some golf courses beckon their players to return again and again, offering both elegant scenery and a remarkable diversity of approaches to each hole. Valley of the Moon is one of those courses. Architect Ted Robinson utilized the stunning Valley of the Moon landscape to assure that every hole would be overlooked by stately Hood Mountain and the surrounding Mayacamas range. Gently undulating fairways make VM walkable for those wanting the full effect of the beautiful setting. Exquisitely manicured greens, eight lakes and a nifty waterfall that your tee shot clears on the 18th hole enliven the course. The signature 17th hole features OB left and a lake keeping you company all the way down the right fairway. Just 10 minutes from downtown Santa Rosa, Valley of the Moon can top off your golfing day with the Pro Shop and Quail Inn Restaurant, overlooking the 10th tee and 18th green. Learn more
