History

Green Tree Golf Club offers "traditional" golf in all the best meanings of the term including moderate fees with very good service. Located just off the I-80 freeway in Vacaville between San Francisco and Sacramento, Green Tree is conveniently accessible to the entire Bay Area. The 18-hole course with a par of 71 plays at 6,276 from the championship tees. With the best Bentgrass/Poa greens in the county, tree-lined fairways, numerous water hazards, and well-placed bunkers, this well-kept course is a challenge for all golfers. Built in 1962, the course has undergone extensive renovations to include a rerouting of the nines to improve flow and speed up play. Upgrades include eight tee boxes rebuilt in 2007 and more are scheduled for 2009. Green Tree is a full-service facility with a well-lit practice range, comfortable cafe with outside dining, well-stocked golf shop and tournament/group capability.
