History
Designed to integrate the beauty of the eastern Sierra Nevada foothills and high landscape into its layout, the Genoa Lakes Ranch Course's 7,290-yard, par-72 championship course features breathtaking views in every direction. Rugged mountains and lush valleys offer scenes of exceptional variety from each hole. From the 618- yard, par-5 downhill 18th hole to the 188-yard, par-3 island on the 8th, Genoa Lakes — Ranch has been uniquely designed in a non-parallel format, creating a sense of solitude and serenity. The front nine meanders through desert landscape with spectacular water features. The back nine begins on the valley floor and climbs 300 feet up the eastern slope, where mule deer, rabbits, eagles and coyote abound. Four sets of tees on each hole make the course an enjoyable challenge for players of all skill levels. Combined with its sister Lakes Course across the way, the two Genoa Lakes courses offer the perfect weekend getaway that you may want to extend on one end or the other to achieve its full effect.
